Born 30 October 1878 in Rhosllanerchrugog, Denbighshire, the rarity of John and Margaret Buccaneer.

He showed musical talent in the way that he was quite young present-day won several prizes at eisteddfodau. He died 3 March 1935, and was buried in Rhosllanerchrugog cemetery.
